"I need a straightforward Android app that lets a user tap a button, scan a barcode with the camera, and save the captured data. Each scan should immediately populate an on-device table that the user can later export to a clean CSV file readable by Excel—and, just as importantly, reload a previously saved CSV back into the app for additional scanning or correction.

Core flow
• User opens the app → taps “Scan” → camera activates → barcode is read (manual initiation, no auto-detect loop).
• After a successful read the decoded value, time stamp, and a running line number appear on screen and in local storage.
• At any moment the user can press “Export” to generate a .csv file (comma-separated, UTF-8) that opens flawlessly in Excel.
• An “Import” button must let them browse local storage, pick an existing .csv, and repopulate the in-app table.

Tech preferences
I am fine with Java or Kotlin in Android Studio. Most of my previous projects have used ZXing, so sticking with that—or ML Kit if you prefer—is acceptable. While the only guaranteed use case right now is standard retail barcodes, please leave the code flexible so formats such as UPC, EAN, or Code 128 can be enabled later with minimal changes.

Deliverables
1. Full Android Studio project with clear, commented source.
2. Signed APK ready for sideloading on Android 8+.
3. Brief README covering build steps, the CSV schema, and how to add more barcode formats.

Acceptance criteria
• Manual scan initiation works reliably under normal lighting.
• Exported CSV opens in Excel without broken characters or merged columns.
• Importing the same file restores every record exactly as it was.
• No crashes across screen rotations or when camera permission is toggled.
