"I’m building a control system that must talk directly to multiple fuel dispensers over RS-485. I need a developer who already understands dispenser protocols—specifically Wayne DART, Gilbarco, Tatsuno, Censtar, and Mekser—and can turn that knowledge into working code.

Scope
• Create a clean, well-documented software module (any modern language you’re comfortable with) that can:
– Discover connected dispensers on an RS-485 loop
– Authorise, start and stop fueling
– Poll real-time totals and diagnostic data
– Log transactions for later processing
• Provide a short test utility or demo script so I can verify each function on live pumps.
• Supply build/run instructions and a brief technical write-up of protocol quirks you encounter.

I already have hardware access to the dispensers; you’ll get remote desktop and sample captures for debugging. If you’ve written pump controllers before, let me know what brands and show a code snippet—proof of prior experience will move you to the top of the list.
