"“Perpetual Gift Tracker” – Interactive Map & Story Website

I’m looking for a full-stack developer to build a website that tracks a physical gift (e.g. a book) as it’s passed from person to person around the world. Each gift has a QR code linking to its own webpage showing its journey.

Core features:

Landing page with menu including interactive world map (Mapbox or Google Maps API) showing all exchanges. Lines connecting markers to show travel path.

Text/story panel below linked to map markers (click marker = highlight story).

Sidebar listing other gifts and recent exchanges.

Exchange submission form (message, name/pseudonym, location).

Simple user accounts (follow a gift, receive email updates or weekly digests).

Admin dashboard to:

Approve / edit / delete posts before publishing.

Create new gifts and generate QR codes.

Manage users and export data.

Suggested stack: React / Vue + Node.js / Django + PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Requirements: Responsive design, clean UI, simple documentation, live hosting setup.
