"Multiplayer works flawlessly on Steam, but on PS5 every joining player is spawned into the wrong map. I host the session from the LevelGame map through Unreal’s built-in OnlineSubsystem, expect anyone who joins to load the same LevelGame map, yet the console insists on travelling elsewhere.
I need someone who understands PS5-specific quirks of Unreal Engine session travel (blueprint) to:
• analyse my existing create/join logic and session settings
• identify why the client ignores the intended LevelGame travel when joining on PS5
• implement and test the fix so the behaviour matches Steam: host creates in LevelGame, all joiners land in LevelGame, full sync intact
You’ll receive a stripped-down project reproducing the problem ([login to view URL]). Once you show the corrected travel flow in a build running on PS5 hardware, I’ll reintegrate the changes into the full game.
