"I have an in-house calculator that estimates textile materials, and it’s showing its age. I’ll send you two files right after kickoff: the current working calculator and a mock-up that illustrates exactly how I want it to look and behave. Your task is to rebuild the tool so it keeps every existing formula and workflow while presenting a cleaner, more intuitive interface geared toward textile materials.

Scope of work
• Re-create all current calculations for fabric yardage, weight and cost exactly as they appear in the legacy file.
• Apply the new layout, controls and styling shown in my mock-up so the finished tool is visually modern and easy to navigate on desktop and tablet.
• Ensure the calculator is responsive, loads quickly and saves user inputs without glitches.
• Deliver the finished file ready to plug in on my website or to run as a standalone web app—whichever matches the tech you choose.

Timeline
I need the first functional draft within a few days—ASAP is ideal—so we can iterate fast and wrap up quickly.
