"I need an Upgrade for my existing Typo3 (6.*) website :
Information: The Christmas Office is a passion project that I work on in my free time.
The upgrade is primarily intended to make the site responsive, meet data protection requirements, and enable accessibility where necessary.
2 possible implementations:
1. Upgrade the Typo 3 version (I habe already
or 2. Migration to Wordpress while preserving everything I already have in place. The current design layout, content structure, and all active functionalities and plugins must remain intact after the move.

I’m running a TYPO3 site that’s still on version 6 (or even a little older) and I’m ready to bring it up to version 10. The installation isn’t plain vanilla—there are several custom extensions that must continue working flawlessly after the move.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Audit the current setup, including core, extensions, and any custom code snippets.
• Create a solid upgrade roadmap covering database migrations, deprecated API replacements, and necessary server-side tweaks (PHP version, composer refactor, etc.).
• Migrate the site to TYPO3 10 or 11 (the seminar Extention runs only until 11) , updating or rewriting my custom extensions where required.
• Thoroughly test key front-end and back-end functionality, resolving any compatibility issues you uncover.
• Provide a concise hand-over document so I can maintain the site confidently going forward.

If you have a proven track record with TYPO3 upgrades—especially across major LTS boundaries—and you’re comfortable refactoring custom extensions, let’s talk.
to 2.: Here’s what I expect (for Migration to Wordpress)
• Full database and content transfer without data loss
• Pixel-perfect replication of the present design in a modern WordPress theme (child theme is fine)
• Re-creation or substitution of Typo3 extensions with equivalent WordPress plugins so every feature continues to work
• URL and SEO structure maintained to avoid ranking drops
• Thorough testing and fixes for any broken links, forms, or interactive elements

I’m unsure whether additional features would benefit the new site, so I’d like your expert advice on possibilities before we finalise the scope. If small improvements can be added efficiently during the migration, please flag them.

Deliver the finished WordPress site on a staging server first; once approved, deploy it to my live hosting and provide basic documentation so I can manage routine updates myself.
