"I run an NFT-based ecommerce platform that previously used Paytm without a hitch. After adding a few new features, users can no longer initiate payments—the Paytm button simply fails to fire the request. Verification and completion logic remain untouched; the problem sits squarely at the initiation step.

I need an experienced developer who has already worked with Paytm’s payment gateway (Checkout JS or server-to-server APIs) to:

• audit the current integration and pinpoint why the initiation call isn’t being triggered
• revise or refactor the code so Paytm loads, tokenizes, and hands back the transaction request reliably
• test against Paytm’s staging and production environments, confirming successful initiation, verification, and completion for multiple order values
• document any new endpoints, callbacks, or config changes so future feature updates don’t break the flow again

Our stack is a standard web frontend talking to a Node.js/Express backend, with order data stored in MongoDB, but you’ll find most of the Paytm logic in a dedicated service file. I can give you repository access, API keys, and recent error logs immediately.
