The software must also save each record—both the descriptive text (item name, notes) and its numerical values—in a small local database or file so I can reopen, edit, and review past entries.

Minimum feature set
• Clean Windows UI with fields for text and numbers.
• Instant calculations for line totals and grand total.
• Save, load, and edit entries; no data loss between sessions.
• Export to CSV or another common format is a plus, but not required.
