"Overview
We’re setting up a Shopify store using Printful for on-demand printing and fulfillment - think Vistaprint but for a nice audience.
We need an experienced Shopify developer to integrate and configure a live product customizer (e.g. Teeinblue Product Personalizer or Zakeke) so customers can upload or personalise their own designs before checkout.

Objective

Allow shoppers to custom design their own products directly on the Shopify storefront, preview their design live, and have that design automatically synced to Printful for production.

Scope of Work

App Integration & Setup
Recommend and install a product customizer app (Teeinblue preferred, Zakeke acceptable).
Connect the app with the existing Shopify + Printful setup.
Configure product templates (e.g., stickers, apparel, or print items).
Front-End Customization
Add a live editor to product pages so users can:
Upload images or artwork.
Add text, scale, rotate, and position elements.
Choose preset sizes or shapes (e.g., circle, square, etc.).
Optionally toggle a white border or outline.
Ensure the UI is simple, playful, and mobile responsive.
Order Workflow & Testing
Verify that personalized orders automatically:
Generate and attach a print file to the order.
Sync correctly with Printful for fulfillment.
Test end-to-end across multiple products and devices.
Documentation & Handover


Deliverables

Functional product customizer live on Shopify.
At least 3 customizable products configured and tested.
Non-destructive theme edits and clear documentation.

Experience Required

Proven experience integrating Shopify product customizer apps (Teeinblue, Zakeke, Customily, or similar).
Strong skills in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, and theme customization.
Understanding of Printful workflows and print file handling.
Portfolio of Shopify sites featuring customer personalization or custom design tools.


Nice to Have

Experience with image handling or Canvas frameworks for future enhancements.
Eye for user-friendly, clean design and layout consistency.

Timeline

Expected completion: 2–3 weeks including testing.
