"I’m ready to add a light-weight yet dependable automation layer to an existing web app and would like you to spin it up in Playwright. The goal is a working proof-of-concept that I can run locally with a single command and that also executes automatically in GitHub Actions.

Scope
• Build functional and regression scripts that exercise the key user journeys I’ll share once we start. Chrome, Firefox and Safari must be covered; if you can also wire in Edge with minimal effort, that’s a plus.
• Keep the code clean and readable—page-object pattern or your preferred equivalent is fine so long as maintenance stays simple.
• Hook the test run into the repo’s existing CI/CD pipeline through a concise workflow file.
• Surface failures clearly and generate straightforward bug reports so I can verify issues fast.

Deliverables
1. Playwright test suite committed to a new folder in my repo
2. GitHub Actions workflow YAML that installs dependencies and runs the suite headless
3. Minimal README and setup notes (npm, yarn or pnpm—your choice)
4. Initial bug report document capturing any defects uncovered during authoring
