"I need my Shopify store to feed clean, reliable data back to Google Ads. The only tag that has to go live right now is the Google Ads Conversion Tracking Tag, and it must fire for two events specifically—Purchases and Add-to-Cart.

I’m not certain whether a tag was already generated in my Google Ads account, so the first step will be to check. If none exists, please create the appropriate conversion actions and their corresponding tag(s). After that, install them on Shopify (native integration or Google Tag Manager—whichever guarantees full data accuracy and won’t slow the site).

Deliverables
• Confirm or create the required Google Ads conversion actions (Purchase, Add-to-Cart).
• Implement the Conversion Tracking Tag on Shopify.
• Test and verify that both events fire correctly in Google Ads and appear in real-time tag diagnostics.
