"Design App Color: Black, White and Gray

I’m building a lightweight personal finance tool that runs natively on both iOS and Android. The core scope is intentionally narrow: users will manually record every expense, tag it with a category, and later view clear, easy-to-understand financial reports that highlight spending patterns over time.

A clean, minimalist interface is essential because manual entry needs to feel quick—think on-screen numeric pad, auto-suggested categories, and instant feedback on daily totals. Once the data is in, the app should generate at-a-glance summaries (daily, weekly, monthly) and simple charts so users can spot trends without drowning in features they’ll never use.

Under the hood, you’re free to choose the cross-platform stack you prefer (React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform, etc.) as long as the final builds pass App Store and Google Play review guidelines.

Deliverables
• Release-ready iOS (.ipa) and Android (.apk or AAB) builds
• Complete, well-commented source code in a shared repo
• A concise README covering local setup, build steps, and any third-party packages used
• One-page user guide that explains adding expenses and viewing reports
