"I rely on a Microsoft Access database to produce fast, error-free sales-quote estimates, but the file has outgrown its original design. I’m looking for someone to reconfigure and modernize it end-to-end so it scales with our current volume and reporting needs.

Scope of work
• Restructure the back-end tables and relationships for clean, future-proof data integrity.
• Refresh every form with a streamlined, intuitive user interface that loads quickly and guides the estimator through each step.
• Build in new calculation and margin-control formulas so the quoting engine produces accurate, consistent numbers.
• Add a suite of reports—including an auto-updating dashboard—that summarizes key metrics at a glance while still allowing drill-downs.
• Migrate existing data and deliver clear documentation so the team can maintain formulas and add new products without further coding.

What I’d like to see in your proposal
• A concise description of your approach to the redesign, including any VBA, SQL Server, or Power BI components you’d recommend.
• Milestones with rough timelines for data restructuring, UI prototypes, formula validation, reporting, testing, and hand-off.
• Examples of previous Access (or comparable) estimating or quoting systems you’ve delivered.
