"Project Overview:

We are launching a modern, professional online supermarket serving customers only in Arnhem, Netherlands.
The LOKA theme has already been purchased. We now need a highly skilled Shopify expert to build and optimize the entire store from scratch, making it fully functional and ready to launch.

Our goal is to deliver a seamless, elegant, and fast shopping experience for local customers.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Branding & Visual Identity

Full customization of the LOKA theme while maintaining original color scheme.

Create a complete brand identity: logo, fonts, brand guidelines.

Design a beautiful and user-friendly UX/UI that appeals to local customers.

2. Store Structure & Product Setup

We have 11 collections (categories). Your job:

Create the structure for each collection.

Add 10–15 placeholder products per collection (only for demo purposes).

Include temporary images, prices, and descriptions (we’ll update them later).

Ensure everything looks clean, attractive, and consistent.

3. Shipping & Delivery Setup

Restrict ordering to specific Arnhem postcodes only.

Block orders from outside Arnhem.

Set free shipping for orders over €100.

Apply a shipping fee (€5 to €10) for smaller orders.

4. Email & Marketing Systems

Configure all email notifications (order confirmation, shipping updates, etc.).

Add a popup for email capture (for newsletters and offers).

Include a customer feedback form (to gather suggestions/issues).

5. Social Media & Online Presence

Set up or connect the following accounts:

Facebook

Instagram

TikTok

Google Business Profile

Ensure all accounts are linked to the store.

6. Discounts & Promotions

Implement flexible discount rules (easy to turn on/off):

Example: 5% off above €200, 10% off above €300, etc.

7. Full Technical Setup (Very Important)

Configure all technical settings in Shopify, including:

VAT/tax setup

Currency and time zone

Payment gateways (suitable for the Netherlands)

Language & translation labels

Navigation and store structure

Performance optimization (speed and responsiveness)

Basic SEO setup (titles, meta descriptions, alt texts)

8. Testing & Quality Assurance

Test everything across devices.

Ensure perfect performance with no bugs.

Review customer journey from homepage to checkout.

Suggest improvements where needed.

This is NOT a dropshipping project. It’s a real supermarket with local delivery in Arnhem.

The products added now will be placeholders only — you don’t need to find real items.

Store owner has Shopify knowledge, but prefers to hire an expert to build and polish the site professionally.

If we are impressed with your work, there’s a strong opportunity for long-term collaboration to continue managing and improving the store.
