Project description:
"I’m building a full-featured mobile companion for active traders and need a developer who can take it from wireframe to production on both iOS and Android. The project is divided into two pillars—calculator tools and real-time automation modules—so clean, modular code and a future-proof architecture are critical.
Scope of work
You’ll create an intuitive, responsive interface that houses the following calculator suite:
• Profit/Loss
• Position Size
• Dividend Yield
• Breakout Target
• Diversification Analyzer
• Risk/Reward
• CAGR / Investment Growth
• Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA)
• Options P/L
• Renko Box Size helper
In parallel, the app needs live data engines for:
• Pre-market heatmap
• Reddit sentiment monitor
• Earnings “roulette” play detector
• Whale options tracker
• Insider activity tracker
• Flash-crash detector
• Chart pattern scanner
• AI stock analyst
• Social hype meter
• Sector-vs-S&P relative view
• Economic calendar feed
• 10-ticker rolling news bot (AAPL, TSLA, NVDA, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, META, JPM, BAC, XOM)
What I expect
– One codebase compiled for both platforms (React Native, Flutter or similar—happy to discuss).
– Real-time data pulled from reliable market APIs; free tiers are fine for prototype as long as endpoints can be swapped for paid later.
– Local caching for offline calculator use.
– A clean, modern UI that doesn’t feel cluttered despite the large toolset.
– Source-controlled project with clear, self-documented code and setup instructions.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every calculator returns accurate results that match standard financial formulas within ±0.5 %.
2. Automation modules refresh in under five seconds on 4G and display graceful fallback states on connection loss.
3. App ships to TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing with no critical crashes (Crashlytics).
4. All screens pass basic accessibility checks (font scaling, VoiceOver/TalkBack labels).
If this sounds like your kind of build, let’s discuss the data providers you’ve used before and how you plan to structure the project timeline." (client-provided description)
