"Urgent WordPress Security, Stability, and Migration Project (Malware Cleanup & Elementor to Gutenberg Conversion)

Dear Freelancer,

We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to help us resolve a series of urgent stability and security issues with our existing WordPress website.

1. Problem Description & Current Status
Security Breach & Malware: Our hosting provider confirmed that the site was recently compromised and contains malware. Evidence of this is visible, as our Google search results have been hijacked (the "Getsafecode" issue).

Stability Issues (Crashing): The site frequently crashes, which we suspect is due to using nulled/pirated versions of premium plugins, specifically Elementor and Dynamic Content for Elementor.

Data Loss Scare: The site recently went down, and we were unable to restore it ourselves. The host had to restore it to an older backup (September 30th).

Broken Tools: The WP Toolkit functionality is currently not working and needs to be fixed.

2. Required Scope of Work (Deliverables)
The project must be executed in a structured, phased approach (Security first, then Development).

Phase A: Security & Setup (Priority 1)

Malware Cleanup: Perform a comprehensive, site-wide scan and manual cleanup to eliminate all malware and backdoors from the files and database of the restored site copy.

Google Recovery: Address the "Getsafecode" and Google indexing issue via Google Search Console.

Security Hardening: Update all passwords (WP, cPanel, FTP, DB) and implement best-practice security hardening measures.

Staging Environment: Create a secure, isolated Staging Environment for testing and development based on the cleaned version of the site.

Backup System Fix: Test and ensure the current backup system (UpdraftPlus, as seen in the screenshots) is functioning correctly and is storing backups securely off-site.

Phase B: Stability & Migration (Priority 2)

Plugin Replacement: Remove the pirated Elementor and Dynamic Content plugins.

Content Migration: Rebuild the affected pages and sections using the standard Gutenberg Editor (or other stable, premium editor agreed upon) to ensure long-term stability and eliminate reliance on the unstable plugins.

WP Toolkit Repair: Diagnose and fix the issues preventing the WP Toolkit from functioning.

Final Deployment: Migrate the cleaned, stable, and updated Staging site to the live (Production) environment.

3. Required Developer Expertise
To complete this job efficiently and with high quality, the freelancer must have proven, verifiable experience in the following areas:

Advanced WordPress Security & Malware Removal: Mandatory experience in manually finding and removing complex malware (e.g., Pharma hacks, redirect malware, backdoors) without relying solely on automated tools.

Linux/cPanel File Management: Proficiency in using the File Manager, SSH, and database tools (phpMyAdmin) to directly inspect and modify files on a server.

WordPress Core & Database Expertise: Deep understanding of the WordPress database structure and how plugins (like Elementor) store data.

Elementor and Gutenberg: Proven ability to migrate complex layouts from Elementor to Gutenberg or build pages using Gutenberg for superior stability.

Staging/Deployment Workflow: Experience in creating, testing, and deploying websites from a staging environment to production using tools like Duplicator or WP Staging.

We require someone who can prioritize security and stability above all else to ensure this incident is fully resolved and does not recur.
