"Project Overview:

We are looking to develop a web application where users can sign up, submit payment records (including receipts), and interact with an admin interface for review and approval. The admin will review submitted records and either approve, reject, or delete them. Additionally, users will receive email notifications upon approval or rejection of their payment records. All uploaded payment receipts (images/documents) will be stored in Google Drive to minimize storage space on the website.

The system should be responsive, mobile-friendly for user interactions (sign-up and payment submission), and optimized for desktop use for the admin interface. Admins will have the ability to manage users, roles, and payment records efficiently.

1. User Registration & Management:

User Signup: Users must sign up using their email address.
Email Verification: Send a confirmation email to verify the user's email.
Password Management: Users can set their password during sign-up and reset it if forgotten.

2. Payment Record Submission:

Payment Form:

Users will submit payment details via a form containing the following fields:

Amount (Numerical input)
Currency (Dropdown selection)
Date (Date picker)
Sender Name (Text input)
Payment Method (Dropdown selection)
Receipt Upload (Image or document upload - JPG, PNG, PDF, DOCX)

Mobile-Optimized: The form will be fully optimized for mobile devices. The fields will be vertically stacked, and file upload will be touch-friendly.

3. Admin Interface (Desktop-Only):

Admin Dashboard:

Admins will have a desktop-only interface where they can view and manage all user-submitted payment records.
Record Details: When clicking on a record, the admin will see a side panel displaying:

Payment details (amount, currency, sender name, payment method, date).
An image preview for image files (JPG, PNG) or a download link for document files (PDF, DOCX).
Admin Actions:

Approve: Admin can approve records, making them locked (non-editable) for users.
Reject: Admin can reject records, with the option to keep the record or delete it from the system.
Delete: Admin can delete records entirely.
User Management: Admins can deactivate users, delete users, and change user roles (e.g., User → Supervisor).

4. Google Drive Integration:

File Storage in Google Drive:

All uploaded receipts (images or documents) will be stored in Google Drive, minimizing storage usage on the website.
When a user uploads a receipt, the file is uploaded to a Google Drive folder, and the file's ID/URL is stored in the website's database.
Admins will view the uploaded files directly from Google Drive (via the file ID/URL) in the admin side panel.

5. Email Notifications:

Upon Approval: Users will receive an email notifying them that their payment record has been approved.
Upon Rejection: Users will receive an email notifying them that their payment record has been rejected.
Email Template Customization: The admin will be able to modify the email templates for notifications (approval, rejection, etc.) from the admin dashboard.

6. File Management:

Supported File Types: The system will allow users to upload JPG, PNG, PDF, DOCX files as payment receipts.
Secure File Handling: Uploaded files will be securely stored in Google Drive, and only the admin will have access to view or download the receipts.
File Deletion: Optionally, when a record is deleted by the admin, the corresponding file can also be deleted from Google Drive.
