"I have a social-networking concept that needs to reach users quickly, so the goal is an MVP that runs on both iOS and Android from a single codebase. Core functionality for this first release is simple but must be solid:

• Account sign-up/login and editable user profiles.
• A feature that lets users record their voice for a specific task and stores or streams that audio back in the app.

That voice component is the app’s key differentiator, so latency, file handling and UI flow around the recorder are important. Messaging or a lightweight news feed might be added later, therefore I’d like the architecture kept modular so we can plug those in without a rewrite.

I’m open to React Native, Flutter or another cross-platform toolkit you prefer, provided the final deliverables include:

1. Source code with clear, inline comments.
2. Two test-ready builds (iOS & Android).
3. A brief setup/hand-off guide explaining environment, dependencies, and how audio is stored or streamed.

Fast iteration, clean code, and straightforward communication will keep this project moving. If needed, feel free to suggest the best backend or third-party services for authentication and audio storage; I’m happy to provision them while you build." (client-provided description)
