"PaySplit is a web-based Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) system that lets peer-to-peer salespeople offer flexible, interest-free payment plans without needing an e-commerce store. The merchant gets paid up front and takes on no credit risk; the customer pays PaySplit later in installments.

How it works — step by step

For the merchant (salesperson):
1. Log into PaySplit and open the order form.
2. Prefill the order details (item, price, buyer contact, etc.).
3. PaySplit generates a unique payment link you can send to the customer (WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram, etc.).

For the customer:
1. Click the link and open the PaySplit order page.
2. Enter their name and ID number (this starts the identity/eligibility check).
3. PaySplit’s decision engine evaluates the application in real time.
4. If approved, the customer chooses from the available repayment terms (monthly plan, duration, etc.).
5. The order is confirmed and placed with the merchant.

Money flow & timing:
• PaySplit pays the merchant upfront for the order (so the merchant receives funds immediately).
• The customer starts paying PaySplit in one month according to the chosen installment plan.
