"I am building a POS system in Oracle APEX and need a developer who can focus on the sales-transaction workflow. The core of the job is to create fast, reliable screens for ringing up sales, updating inventory counts in real time, and writing the PL/SQL logic that keeps all tables in sync.

Key expectations
• Design or refine the database schema so daily data entry and updates run smoothly.
• Build intuitive APEX pages for cash, card, or mixed payments, with basic discounts and tax calculations.
• Write clean, commented PL/SQL packages, triggers, and procedures to handle inserts, updates, and limited rollbacks.
• Ensure each transaction is saved instantly and can be recalled or edited by authorized staff.
• Provide brief documentation so I can extend the solution later.

Nice to have (but not required): barcode scanning support and a starter report that lists today’s totals by item.

I will supply an empty Oracle workspace and any reference tables you need. Delivery is a working APEX app plus exported SQL scripts so I can install it elsewhere.
