Project description:
"Our WordPress website’s analytics pixels have grown messy over time, so I need a specialist to clean house and rebuild them properly. The goal is simple: every meaningful ecommerce touch-point must flow into both Google Analytics and the Meta pixel without gaps or double-counting.
Here’s what I expect:
• Remove or disable any stray, duplicate, or deprecated GA4 and Meta tags.
• Re-implement a fresh, tidy setup—ideally through Google Tag Manager—covering page views, button clicks, form submissions, product views, add-to-cart events, and purchase completions.
• Make sure the full ecommerce schema (value, currency, item IDs, quantities, etc.) fires on each event so I can see complete funnels in both platforms.
• Handle cross-domain or thank-you page tracking caused by our third-party payment gateway.
• Test in real time and deliver a short verification report/screenshots confirming that events appear correctly in GA4 DebugView and Meta Events Manager.
• Provide brief notes or a Loom walk-through so future edits are straightforward.
If you’ve untangled GA4 + Meta pixels before and are comfortable mapping ecommerce data layers, this should be a smooth engagement. If you know what you're doing, this is an 8 hour max project.
You will receive backend access to our GA portal, our Meta portal, and our WordPress site." (client-provided description)
