"My small assignment-writing service needs a lightweight, browser-accessible application that lets me record and monitor every order from the moment a client contacts me until the final paper is delivered.

Core scope
The emphasis is on streamlined order tracking, not full inventory or complex ERP features. A clean dashboard where I can add, edit, search and filter orders is enough, provided all essential data is captured.

Mandatory data fields
• Customer details
• Assignment details (topic, word count, referencing style, etc.)
• Submission deadlines (with countdown or colour alerts)
• Institute / university name
• Payment details (quoted price, amount received, balance)

Helpful touches
Status tags such as “In progress”, “Awaiting payment”, “Delivered”, plus email or in-app deadline reminders would make daily work easier. Export to CSV or Excel is also important so I can hand reports to my accountant.

Tech & delivery
Any modern web stack—Laravel, Django, Node, or similar—is fine as long as the code is clean and well-documented. A responsive interface that loads quickly on desktop and mobile browsers is a must. Please include instructions for local setup and deployment on shared hosting or a small VPS.
