"I’m moving the full content of my previous website to a brand-new website using WordPress already installed and want every mention of the old domain swapped out for the new one before it goes live. All pages, posts, images, and menus already exist on my local machine and simply need to be uploaded and adjusted.

Along the way I also plan to freshen things up with text updates, image replacements, and a small new section that will sit under an extra menu tab.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Upload every page, post, and image to the new WordPress site.
• Search-and-replace the old site name throughout body copy, headings, alt tags, and internal links so the new domain is reflected everywhere.
• Recreate the existing menu structure, adding one additional tab that links to the new content and images I’ll provide.
• Verify that all images display crisply and links route correctly.
• Create and back up both versions: one clean copy for the new domain (with updated name) and one untouched copy so the original site can be restored later without alterations.
