"My React Native app is built with Expo and uses expo-auth-session together with Google.useAuthRequest. Google Sign-In currently fails—especially on Android Expo Go, where I see the “Cannot use the AuthSession proxy” error.

I need you to:

• diagnose why the AuthSession proxy error appears on Android Expo Go
• patch the configuration so Google authentication works smoothly on Expo Go and on eventual standalone Android and iOS builds
• deliver clean, well-commented code changes (JS/TS and any necessary [login to view URL] tweaks) that I can drop straight into the project

You should already be comfortable with Expo managed workflows, React Native, and the nuances of Google OAuth 2.0 in AuthSession. Testing on both Android and iOS simulators or real devices is expected so we can confirm the login flow end-to-end.
