Google is showing the wrong branding for my site on both mobile and desktop search results — neither the favicon nor the organisation logo appears, even though they display perfectly on the site itself and the correct files are already uploaded.

I need someone who can:
• Diagnose why Google Search is ignoring the current favicon and logo.
• Implement the required fixes — this may involve tweaking HTML markup, adding <link rel="icon"> variations, updating structured data (Organisation/Logo schema), or adjusting Search Console settings.
• Verify the solution until the correct favicon and logo are picked up by Google and reflected in live search snippets.

Requirements:
You should be comfortable with Google Search Console, favicon best-practice, schema markup, caching/CDN quirks, and SEO troubleshooting.
Experience with WordPress preferred.
