"Development of Multi-Brand Meal Management App (Web + Mobile) with Odoo Integration, AI, and Automations

We are building an AI-driven, multi-brand meal management platform — one intelligent backend serving multiple storefronts.
The project involves developing the interim version (MVP 1) of the platform, which includes web and mobile interfaces, core backend integrations, and automation flows using the defined architecture.

This first phase focuses on creating a functional, production-ready experience that connects the front-end applications, Odoo 19 (Community Edition) as the system of record, Google Cloud services, and automation/AI workflows.


Core Objectives
• Deliver a working PWA + mobile app (via Capacitor) for two storefronts connected to one backend.
• Enable full synchronization between the app (frontend), Backend-for-Frontend (BFF), and Odoo 19 for users, products, orders, and subscriptions.
• Configure n8n automation flows for customer engagement and kitchen operations.
• Integrate Google API Gateway, Vertex AI (Gemini), and Twilio WhatsApp for communication, AI content generation, and intelligent nudges.
• Deploy all components on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Cloud Run, Odoo VM, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines.


High-Level Scope of Work

1. Web & Mobile Application
• Build a unified [login to view URL] Progressive Web App (PWA) wrapped for iOS/Android via Capacitor.
• Implement screens for onboarding, meal feed (“Today’s Feed”), plan management, rating, and profile settings.
• Integrate with Auth0 for authentication, Stripe/[login to view URL] for payments, and Twilio for WhatsApp messaging.
• Support two brands (e.g., Brand A / Brand B) — each with unique themes but shared backend logic.

2. Backend Integration (BFF + Odoo 19)
• Develop the BFF (NestJS + Node/TypeScript) to manage API communication between the app and Odoo.
• Set up Odoo 19 Community Edition as the ERP and System of Record, containerized on a GCP VM.
• Configure product, SKU, customer, and subscription modules with attributes for macros, allergens, cuisine, and category.
• Ensure two-way data sync:
• App → BFF → Odoo (orders, ratings, subscriptions)
• Odoo → BFF → App (menus, macros, delivery status)

3. Automations & AI Integration

Implement up to six starter flows using n8n + Vertex AI:
1. Adaptive fasting reminder (personalized nudge).
2. Macro balance suggestion.
3. Post-meal feedback message (“Would you like this again?”).
4. Weekly recap summary (motivation + stats).
5. Low-stock / procurement alert for kitchen.
6. Daily meal-prep forecast report.
(Flows to be configured as base templates; future expansion planned for MVP 2.)

4. Cloud & Infrastructure Setup
• Host applications and services on GCP with:
• Cloud Run (BFF, app containers, n8n)
• Compute Engine VM (Odoo 19 Community)
• Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Cloud Storage, Memorystore (Redis)
• Google API Gateway for secure routing and JWT auth
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with testing & auto-deploy
• Integrate Vertex AI / Gemini for AI-generated meal insights, messages, and personalization logic.


Expected Deliverables
• Fully functional Dev + Staging environments on GCP.
• Working web & mobile app with 2 storefronts connected to Odoo 19 backend.
• BFF with documented API endpoints and data mapping.
• Configured n8n workspace with 6 operational automation flows.
• Twilio WhatsApp messaging setup for customer communication.
• Basic AI personalization connected to Vertex AI (Gemini).
• Documentation & handover guide covering setup, deployment, and integration.
