"We have an existing, fully functional fantasy sports web application with both frontend and backend infrastructure already built and deployed. The platform features a robust user interface, database architecture, and API integration system that we want to repurpose into a prediction market platform.

The current site has a complete fantasy sports website with working backend and frontend, operational database structure for user management, transactions, and content delivery, established component library and responsive design system, and user authentication and account management system in place.

Rather than building a prediction market platform from scratch, we're leveraging our existing codebase to significantly reduce development time. The core architecture and layout are remarkably similar between fantasy sports and prediction markets, making this conversion highly efficient.

Key deliverables include implementing the provided new homepage design specifications and ensuring seamless integration with existing frontend framework while maintaining responsive design across all devices. We need to replace existing sports data APIs with Polymarket APIs, fetch and display real-time prediction market data, integrate market categories, odds, and trading volumes, and connect Polymarket imagery and branding assets.

The UI/UX transformation requires adapting existing UI components to prediction market context, updating terminology from sports-specific to market-specific language, redesigning data visualization components for charts, odds displays, and market trends, and modifying user dashboards to show market positions instead of fantasy lineups while integrating Polymarket visual identity and design guidelines.

Backend adaptation involves reconfiguring existing backend endpoints to work with Polymarket data structure, updating database schemas to accommodate prediction market data models, and modifying business logic from fantasy sports scoring to market resolution while ensuring existing user authentication works with new market features.

Technical requirements include integrating Polymarket REST APIs for market data, implementing real-time WebSocket connections for live market updates, ensuring all existing backend services remain compatible, maintaining current authentication and security protocols, and optimizing API calls to respect rate limits and reduce latency.
