"My motivation is privacy and security. Although there are eyes monitoring everything, I’d like to reduce our exposure as much as possible using alias email addresses and purchasing as guests. We’d like to get off of wifi for health and security reasons. We have a raid array as a server that we’d like to store movies and videos that are downloaded and don’t depend on YouTube, Bitchute etc. I can get you the specs. Here are some other devices and goals that includes migrating from an iPhone to a flip phone. I’m a lay person and am looking for someone with good references who’s capable of suggesting other precautions:

2025 Spectre Laptop which currently has Windows and want to install Linux Mint and migrate Windows files.
2023 +- Spectre Laptop that has my Office files. Hopefully, it can eventually be decommissioned.
iPhone 14 migration to flip phone that was paid for with cash.
We have Starlink and would like to connect by ethernet to lower risk of surveillance intrusion.
