Description:
Hi! I'm a final-year BTech student looking to hire a freelancer for my academic project. I want to create a simple object detection app that works as follows:

When a real-world object (like an apple, pencil, ball, etc.) is shown in front of the camera,

The app should detect the object using a pre-trained model (YOLO or any suitable alternative),

Then it should enunciate the name of the object using a text-to-speech engine (for example: “This is an apple”).


Think of it as a basic kid-learning app that helps children recognize objects with both visuals and voice.

Important Notes:

The model doesn’t need to train from scratch – using pre-trained YOLOv5/v8 or any light-weight object detection model is fine.

Preferably, the app should be runnable on a basic PC/laptop with a webcam (no need for mobile deployment, unless you suggest otherwise).

I'm working with a tight student budget of ₹650–₹800, so please keep that in mind before applying.
