Project description:
"I need a full-fledged Windows antivirus application built from the ground up and then packaged for two public channels—my own website (standard downloadable installer) and the Microsoft Store (MSIX package).

Core requirements
• Detection engine: reliable on-access and on-demand scanning of common Windows executable types and archives.
• Scheduled scans: the user must be able to set daily, weekly, or custom scan times from within the app.
• Quarantine handling: items flagged during any scan are isolated so they can be restored or deleted later.
• Minimalist UI: clean, uncluttered windows with intuitive controls; dark- and light-mode compliance is a plus.

Publishing workflow
1. Code-sign the binaries with an EV certificate so Windows SmartScreen trusts the installer.
2. Wrap the app as an MSIX package, pass all Microsoft Store certification tests, and submit it under my developer account (I will supply the credentials).
3. Produce a classic .exe or .msi installer, along with screenshots and copy, for direct download on my site.

Deliverables
• Source code and build instructions (C++, C#, Rust, or another Windows-friendly language).
• Signed MSIX package approved by Microsoft Store.
• Website installer, release notes, and a short marketing blurb.
• Brief maintenance guide covering malware-definition updates and future feature additions.

Acceptance criteria
The store submission must reach “Published” status, the scheduled-scan feature must operate correctly after a system reboot, and a test piece of EICAR malware has to be detected and quarantined without false positives on clean files." (client-provided description)
