"This project covers the complete build of a VPN mobile application that runs natively on both iOS and Android. The heart of the product is a rock-solid, encrypted tunnel that offers users a secure connection and the freedom to hop between multiple server locations worldwide. A straightforward username-and-password login is all that is required for entry; no 2FA or biometric gatekeeping is needed in the first release.

The connection layer should rely on proven protocols (WireGuard, OpenVPN, or IKEv2 are all acceptable) and must negotiate the handshake swiftly even on weaker networks. Server lists will be fetched from a lightweight API endpoint and displayed in an intuitive picker so the user can switch regions with a single tap. Although a kill-switch is not part of the current scope, the architecture should remain flexible enough to let us fold that in later without major refactoring.

Deliverables
• Fully functional iOS and Android apps compiled with the latest stable Xcode and Android Studio toolchains
• Source code and project files (Swift/Kotlin or React Native/Flutter—whichever you specialise in) documented for hand-off
• A small backend stub or mock server list API to demonstrate region switching
• Basic UI/UX assets: splash, onboarding screens, login, server picker, connection status
• One-click build instructions plus a short README describing environment variables, signing, and App Store / Play Store readiness

Acceptance criteria
• User can create an account, log in, and establish an encrypted tunnel in under 10 seconds on a typical 4G connection
• Region switch completes within 5 seconds and reflects new IP in an external check
• No DNS/IP leakage verified via common testing sites
• App passes App Store and Play Store VPN entitlement checks without warnings
