"I need a compact, fully working payroll module built specifically for the Malaysian market. The build has to cover four essentials from day one:

• Employee salary calculation that handles overtime, allowances and ad-hoc adjustments.
• Complete tax calculation and PCB filing outputs ready for LHDN upload.
• Leave and attendance integration so approved leave, lateness and OT feed straight into payroll.
• 100 % compliance with Malaysia statutory deductions—EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF and any CP38 variations—using the latest tables and formulas.

What matters is that the calculation engine is accurate, tables are easy for me to update, and the code is well-structured and documented. Feel free to use PHP/Laravel, .as long as it runs on a standard cloud VM.

Deliverables will be:
1. Source code and database schema.
2. A step-by-step deployment guide.
3. Test data plus your validation sheet showing statutory results match official figures.
4. Brief user guide that walks through setting up a company, importing attendance and running a pay cycle.
