Project description:"We’re building GMAT Track, a web platform that helps students organize and track their progress while preparing for the GMAT exam.
Our solution is a centralized tracking platform built on Softr (frontend) and Airtable (backend). The MVP is 40% complete, and we need a skilled Softr + Airtable (and HTML5) expert to help us finalize core features and improve the UX/UI.
What we need:
We’re looking for a designer/programmer familiar with Softr and Airtable to complete the following tasks:
Tasks to complete:
1. UI/UX Design Enhancements
Adapt the current design to an updated UI version (PDF with design will be provided).
Maintain consistency and responsiveness across different screen sizes.
Develop designs not suited to Softr using HTML5
2. Dynamic Pop-ups
Create and integrate various pop-ups:
Goal-setting pop-up (e.g., target score, test date)
Study session creation pop-up
Question tagging/editing pop-ups
Ensure pop-ups are fully connected to Airtable (read/write functionality)
3. Calendar Tracker
Implement a study calendar that displays time invested per day (from user data).
Calendar should allow users to click on a date and review or add sessions.
Must be interactive and responsive
4. Lessons Tab
Add a new tab where users can:
Add their own lessons or resources
View a list/grid of saved lessons
Filter/sort by topic, source, or type
5. Questions Gallery
Create a gallery for uploaded question screenshots/images
Filtering options: type of question (e.g., PS, DS), exam name, tags, upload date
Ensure Airtable storage limits and image handling are respected
6. Efficiency Review
Audit current pages and database for performance bottlenecks
Propose and implement improvements in page load speed and navigation
Ensure scalability for future growth
Ideal candidate:
Strong experience in Softr and Airtable automations
UI/UX sensitivity — you care about how things look and feel
Able to problem-solve creatively within the constraints of no-code platforms
Experience building SaaS dashboards or tracking tools is a big plus
Communicative and proactive: we’ll collaborate on Slack/Notion and present at all times to unblock roadblocks
We will request a portfolio with past projects to verify the quality and expertise of the candidate
Timeline & budget:
Estimated effort: 20–30 hours of work, depending on speed and experience
Timeline: Ideally finished within 1-1.5 weeks
Budget: We are offering $400–600 USD, based on experience and quality of execution" (client-provided description)
