"We run supplier invoicing on Dynamics 365 Finance and too many documents still need manual touch-ups. My first priority is to raise the OCR capture hit-rate—accuracy, document-type coverage and processing speed all have to improve in a measurable way. Whether that means fine-tuning the built-in AI Builder, introducing a third-party engine or both, the final solution must sit cleanly inside D365 F&O with proper security and audit trails.

Once capture is stable, I need the subsequent workflow to be far clearer: every stalled or queried invoice should be assignable to a named user or group with automatic reminders and an escalation path, and any failure must show actionable diagnostics rather than the current generic “workflow failed” message.

To keep the team on target, live dashboards are essential. A workspace inside D365 or a linked Power BI report is fine so long as it tracks queue length, ageing buckets, approval SLA and overall accuracy so we can resolve pending invoices faster.
