"I need a purpose-built Windows desktop application that streamlines day-to-day business workflows. Functionally, the program should feel as responsive as a native Office app: quick start-up, rock-solid stability and a clean, intuitive UI that non-technical staff can learn in minutes. Core screens will cover data entry, real-time search, simple reporting and user-level access control; I will provide wireframes for each once development begins.

The tech stack is flexible as long as the final build installs cleanly on current Windows 10/11 machines without extra runtime headaches. If you prefer C#/.NET (WinForms, WPF or even MAUI for future portability), all the better, but I’m open to C++/Qt or Electron if performance remains snappy. Please include a lightweight database layer—SQLite or a local SQL Express instance works—and keep the codebase easy to maintain with clear separation between UI, logic and data.
