"1️⃣ Project Overview

The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to define the scope and deliverables of UI/UX design services for a Smart Home Application covering mobile and web platforms. The application enables users to control and monitor smart home devices, rooms, automation, and related features.

The Designer will follow the existing brand identity (colors, fonts, logos) provided by the Client.

2️⃣ Scope of Work (Features Included)

The UI/UX scope includes design for the following core functionalities:

Device Control

Lights, AC, smart locks, curtains, sensors, switches, etc.

Home Structure

Rooms, floors, zones management

Scenes & Automation

Create and trigger automations and routines

Device Onboarding / Pairing Flow

Notifications Center

Energy Monitoring Dashboard

Live Camera Streams

User Profiles & Roles

Owner / Family / Guest permissions

Settings & Preferences

Multilingual Interface Support

English (LTR) + Arabic (RTL) layout readiness

The Designer will propose UX improvements aligned with industry best practices.

4️⃣ Timeline

5️⃣ Revision Policy

3 revision rounds per major phase

Revision rounds only apply to work already delivered

Any additional revisions may require scope update

6️⃣ Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide:

✅ Brand guidelines (colors, fonts, logo)
✅ List of devices + categories
✅ Any reference materials or feature priorities
✅ Timely feedback within review cycles

Delays in feedback may adjust the timeline accordingly.

7️⃣ Acceptance Criteria

The final delivery will be considered complete when:

✅ All deliverables in Section 3 are submitted
✅ Designs align with the Client’s brand identity
✅ Prototype is fully functional for navigation
✅ RTL/LTR compatibility is demonstrated
✅ Acceptance sign-off is given by the Client

8️⃣ Ownership & Intellectual Property

Upon final delivery, all design rights are fully transferred to Client.

Designer maintains the right to include the project in portfolio only with Client written approval.

9️⃣ Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all project information, designs, and data strictly confidential and not shared with any third party without written consent." (client-provided description)
