Project description:
"We have an established C#, ASP.NET MVC web application that needs a round of change management focused on adding new functionality rather than simply fixing bugs. I’m looking for a developer who is equally comfortable with design decisions and hands-on coding and who can move efficiently between the front end and the data layer.

The task :
• Analyse the current solution, identify extension points and map out a clean approach for change & new module development.
• Build new data-processing functions end to end: controller actions, business-logic services, and the underlying SQL Server and Oracle objects (tables, views, procedures). Including Front & backend coding .
• Refactor or extend existing screens so the new modules fit seamlessly into the user experience.
• Optimise queries and code where needed to keep performance on par with the rest of the system.
• Unit-test the additional code and deliver concise technical notes that let future developers pick up easily.

Tech environment
C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript/jQuery on the client side, SQL Server and Oracle databases, Git for version control, Visual Studio 2022.

What I consider success :
A cleanly integrated, well-tested feature set that compiles without warnings, deploys with a single click, and matches the current UI/UX style. Once merged, I should be able to demonstrate the new data-processing flow to stakeholders without visible seams." (client-provided description)
