Project description:
"I have two codebases: an older Objective-C app that already tracks live silver prices and a newer SwiftUI app that will become our single, modern code line that is already set up to track gold prices,. I need help bringing select assets across and creating new ones so everything lives in the SwiftUI project without losing existing functionality.
Scope of work
• Extract the Objective-C user-interface pieces and navigation menus that still matter, then recreate or wrap them natively in SwiftUI so they look and behave the same.
• Migrate the real-time gold price feature and expand it to track platinum, silver and palladium, reusing the current data-feed logic wherever possible.
• Ensure the combined code builds cleanly in Xcode, plays nicely with current iOS SDKs and respects Apple-recommended memory management between Objective-C and Swift.
• Provide clear comments or a brief hand-over note so I can follow the bridging techniques you used.
Nice to have
If you spot quick wins in consolidating any remaining legacy Objective-C utility classes into Swift, flag them and we can scope a follow-up.
Deliverable
A compiling SwiftUI project with the migrated UI components, unified navigation, and fully working live price tracker for all four metals, ready for TestFlight submission." (client-provided description)
