1. Core Purpose:
To allow customers without the ride-hailing app to book a taxi directly with a driver on the street,while maintaining the security, transparency, and audit trail of a digital booking. This prevents fraud and builds confidence for all parties.

2. How It Works (Step-by-Step with SMS):

Step 1: Customer Hails & Provides Number

· A customer flags down an available driver.
· The driver agrees to the trip and asks for the customer's mobile phone number.

Step 2: Driver Initiates "Hail Trip" in App

· The driver opens the Driver App and selects the "Start Hail Trip" option.
· The driver enters the customer's mobile number.
· The driver confirms the start location (which can be auto-detected via GPS for accuracy).

Step 3: System Triggers "Booking Confirmation" SMS to Customer

· Immediately after the driver initiates the trip, our system automatically sends an SMS to the customer's provided number.
SMS Content (Trip Start):
Hi! Your hailed taxi with [your Company Name] has been confirmed. Driver: [Driver Name], Vehicle: [Vehicle Number]. The meter has started at [Location] at [Time]. For support, call [Support Number]. Reply STOP to unsubcribe.

Step 4: The Trip Proceeds

· The customer gets in, and the trip proceeds as normal.
· The driver manually ends the trip in the Driver App once the destination is reached. The app calculates the fare based on time and distance.

Step 5: System Triggers "Trip Completion & Fare" SMS to Customer

· As soon as the driver ends the trip, a second SMS is automatically sent to the customer.
