"I’m building an educational demo that lets new programmers write basic code in Assamese and see it instantly run as Python. The goal is a lightweight, well-structured prototype that I can later extend to other regional languages such as Bodo, Khasi and Bengali.

Core scope
• Accept simple Assamese keywords, identifiers and punctuation (Unicode input, not transliterated Latin).
• Translate variable assignments, arithmetic expressions, conditionals, loops and function definitions into clean, human-readable Python 3.
• Execute the generated Python and return stdout / errors to the user in the same interface.
• Keep language rules, lexer and parser definitions modular so new keyword sets can plug in without refactoring the whole pipeline.

Preferred stack
Python itself for the back-end, with parsing handled through something like ANTLR, Lark or PLY—whichever gives the fastest turnaround for this proof of concept. A minimal CLI is fine, but if a tiny web front end in Flask or Streamlit speeds up demos, that’s a plus.

Deliverables
1. Source code with clear separation between lexing, parsing and code generation modules.
2. A README showing install steps, supported Assamese syntax, and two sample scripts that both compile and run.
3. Short document or inline comments outlining how new language tokens can be added.
4. Demo video or GIF proving “hello world”, a loop and a conditional work end-to-end.
(But final deliverables need to be in ready to install package for users)
