"I have an existing ASP-NET C# web portal that needs rapid, contract-based upgrades. The core application already runs, but I now need to strengthen security, streamline user authentication, and extend the built-in dashboard/analytics module. All work will be done in the web layer, so solid skills in ASP-NET (Web Forms or MVC/Core), C#, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript and modern CSS are essential.

Scope of the current sprint
• Audit and harden the existing login and role-management logic.
• Refactor authentication to follow current best practices (hashing, token handling, MFA hooks).
• Add new analytics widgets and tidy the existing dashboard UI using JavaScript charting ([login to view URL], Highcharts or similar—your call).
• Deliver clean, well-commented code plus a brief deployment note so my in-house team can publish the build to IIS.

Acceptance criteria
• No breaking changes to the live user database.
• OWASP-compliant authentication flow verified in staging.
• New dashboard elements render consistently across Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
• Solution compiles without warnings in Visual Studio 2022 and passes our automated unit tests.
