"I need a Windows-based scoreboard application that can switch seamlessly between Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Handball, and Rugby. Each mode should present the correct layout and terminology for that sport while sharing a common, intuitive control panel so the operator never has to relearn the interface.

Core functions must include an in-game timer with start/stop/reset, dynamic score display, live player statistics, real-time foul/penalty tracking, plus a small banner area where I can rotate sponsor ads or announcements. All elements need to scale cleanly from a laptop screen up to a large digital projector without loss of clarity.

Stable performance is more important than flashy graphics, but a modern, clean UI is essential. Please build in C# or another mainstream Windows language so future maintenance is straightforward, and comment the code clearly.
