"We are seeking an experienced developer with strong expertise in Apache Cordova to build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications. You will have expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript alongside Cordova. You are required to have Git experience. The developer will update, debug and fix existing issues in current application template across all platforms. Furthermore, you will assist in automating the current build process. Our codebase consists of a Cordova template which is used alongside a python script to generate and upload the apps for production.
In our current system there are technical challenges with our application caused by outdated Cordova plugins that are no longer maintained and compatibility issues with newer Android versions (Android 13+). You'll be responsible for identifying problematic plugins, finding modern alternatives, and updating the app to meet current platform requirements.
