"I need a lightweight web prototype that captures the look, flow, and core interactions of Polymarket for a product demo. The focus is on user experience rather than full blockchain integration, so mocked data or a simple in-memory store is perfectly acceptable.

Scope
• A browser-based interface that lets visitors browse a handful of pre-seeded prediction markets, open a market detail view, and simulate trades (buy or sell) with instant portfolio updates.
• Clean, responsive UI that conveys current odds/prices and a user’s virtual balance in real time.
• Basic routing so the prototype feels like a single-page application.
• No back-end complexity is required, but if you prefer using a lightweight Node/Express stub or Firebase for state, that works too.

Tech stack is open; I’m happy with React, Vue, Angular, or any modern framework you’re comfortable with—just keep build steps minimal so I can run the demo locally or from a simple hosting service.

Deliverables
• Source code with clear setup instructions (clone, install, run).
• Deployed link (GitHub Pages, Vercel, Netlify, or similar) for quick stakeholder access.
• Brief read-me outlining assumptions, libraries used, and how data is mocked.
