"My iOS app’s launch screen lingers far longer than it should. I also want to eliminate the call that captures a fresh splash image on our server, as that extra request is no longer needed.

Here’s what I need:
• Profile the current launch sequence, pinpoint the slow methods or heavy initialisation calls, and refactor them so the splash screen disappears noticeably faster (ideally under two-three seconds on a mid-range device).
• Remove or disable the “capture new splash” request to the server without breaking any other analytics or logging we rely on.
• Provide a concise summary of the changes, commenting key lines so future updates remain straightforward.
