"I need a straightforward online portal where visitors can discover what’s happening nearby and, if they wish, post their own happenings. The platform will list three main categories—Concerts and music festivals, Community and charity events, and Business and networking events—so the navigation and filtering should reflect these groupings from day one.

Core requirements
• Public event submission: Anyone can add an event. A brief, guided form with basic validation will be enough for this first release.
• Event reminders & notifications: Once a visitor clicks “Remind me,” the system should send an email (and optionally a push notification if you choose a framework that supports it) a set number of days or hours before the start time.
• Social media sharing: Each event page needs ready-made share buttons for Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. Shared links must resolve to the event’s canonical URL with proper meta tags for title, image, and description.

Scope of work
1. Spin up the initial site (you can suggest WordPress + plugin stack, Laravel, or a lightweight JavaScript framework—whichever lets us launch quickly and keep hosting costs low).
2. Design a clean responsive layout; a template is fine as long as it’s legal and mobile-friendly.
3. Build the event submission workflow, including an admin dashboard where I can edit or remove entries.
4. Hook in email notifications using a service like SendGrid or Mailgun.
5. Integrate social share buttons and verify the Open Graph/Twitter Card tags render correctly.
6. Hand over concise setup notes so I can redeploy or replicate the site later.
