• Automate routine file-management actions (check-in/out, rename, version bump) triggered by specific folder or state changes.
• Drive workflow transitions automatically when predefined conditions are met, so engineers no longer move files manually.
• Send real-time notifications or email alerts to the right people at each critical event.

The solution must install cleanly in our existing EPDM environment, respect current permissions, and be written in C# or VB.NET with clear, in-line comments and a brief setup guide.
