Project description:
"I’m looking for a junior web developer who can plug into my small product team and help us “support the team,” as noted in the brief. Your day-to-day work will revolve around growth-oriented tasks—anything that helps us ship faster, improve the user experience, and keep our codebase healthy.
What you’ll do
• Tackle growth tickets: small feature tweaks, interface polish, light refactors, or quick experiments that drive engagement.
• Pair with a senior engineer on pull-request reviews so our velocity stays high without sacrificing quality.
• Jump on minor bugs as they pop up, confirming the fix in staging before we release.
• Write clean, commented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React experience is a plus).
• Follow our Git workflow (feature branches, descriptive commits, and concise PRs).
How we’ll work together
– You’ll get access to the repo, issue tracker, and Slack.
– Tasks are assigned in weekly sprints; estimate, build, push, then demo in a short call.
– I provide quick feedback so you can iterate without roadblocks.
Deliverable for this engagement
By the end of the first week, I expect at least one growth task moved to production with passing tests and documentation of the change. Continued collaboration will depend on code quality, communication, and adherence to deadlines.
If you’re eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and excited to contribute to a real product, I’d love to hear from you." (client-provided description)
