"I have an existing Trusted Web Activity project built in PwaBuilder & Android Studio that is almost production-ready, but two visual quirks still need sorting out and I keep running into dead ends while debugging them.

Im using dynamic meta tags in my web code to change the users status bar from light/dark First, a very thin line appears just below the system status bar seemingly at random times. (the status bar and my website header are the same color) I need that border removed completely on every device/API level I can reasonably support. I’ve tried the usual windowInsets, full-screen flags, and theme tweaks but something is still sneaking through.

Second, whenever the trusted connection drops (if the app has been closed for a while, sometimes its 5 minutes, sometimes its an hours, the address bar will flash very briefly 1-2 seconds) is there a way to show my splash screen to cover this? only when its reconnecting?
