On top of that, I need a clean way to earn revenue through advertisements—Google Ads to start, with room to add other networks later.

Here’s what has to work on day one:
• User-submitted recipes with images, ingredients, and step-by-step instructions
• A rating & review system tied to each recipe and visible in search results
• Fast, faceted search plus category and tag filtering
• Ad slots that integrate smoothly with Google Ads (and remain flexible for future partners)
